Unfortunately this was Edward321, trying to put into the passage that Italians were dominated by Austrians & in the South by Spanish...and yet he is not disciplined, Please check out what he tried to change for yourself here and now maybe this will open everyones eyes!

Never farewell my brother....But Mathsci, I strongly disagree with the way you use racism.

If you are talking about me calling British people strong-willed & proud people, as racism, I truly feel deeply sorry for you, if a compliment would cause you to say such a vile thing as racism. there is nothing racist as to what I said, British people are known for their bravery and courage and if a praise like this sets you off into throwing out the "R" word...well than I am truly lost for words!

And if you are referring to what I said about American education and it's lack of geography and teaching of ancient history as racism I am stunned by this, too. As this is a well know fact and problem in American society and politicians, the american public and polls verify this. So are all the people doing these polls racist too, or are they stating facts and data? And there is no Latin going on in American schools, sorry. So when you use a word like racism, please have good cause my dear man, as that is a nasty word that should not be tossed around like a football.

And if you say about me comparing Rome to America, All I said was their is a lot to be learned from reading about the Romans and the mistakes they made, and to ignore this fact is a shame, But how can anyone address this, because then they are a racist?? Books have been written on this topic are they are a racist too? Remeber this..."History always repeats itself." This is a law of nature.

My good man, I think you are well-learned and mean well, but I feel everyone on here is too vindictive, hostile and touchy and there is too much drama with all these hypocrites and Narcs. If I am allowed all I want to do is finish the page and leave this community forever, as the type of man I am I would never fit in. The type of man, who will be brutally honest and tell you how it is...once this was a virtue, now it is a vice.
