Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rigadoun (talk • contribs) 01:55, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User talk:TREYWiki may be offensive or unwelcome. If you are the user, please log in under that account and proceed to make the changes. Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. Threatening a established user is not the way to go —treySex Me 04:12, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- Please create an account. You seem like you could use one.—treySex Me 04:15, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- I suggest you properly read the policies and guidelines you are citing. WP:NOT#CENSOR has nothing to do with signatures, but it does say that "Wikipedia may contain content that some readers consider objectionable or offensive." (→zelzany - review) 20:04, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

- Kindly refrain from your revert of the 69.120.121.25 Talk page. This is a shared IP portal used by a major Internet provider in the Midwest. Your revert is disruptive to several thousand people to whom it does not apply. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.120.121.25 (talk) 00:58, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

I can take care of my talk page, but thanks for trying to help. -WarthogDemon 19:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:Martin181. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Android Mouse 19:15, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

On this user's talk page you have posted a message suggesting that in certain circumstances his page may be protected. He has removed this comment, which he is allowed to do. Please do not post messages to other editors suggesting that you have access to admin privileges, which as of now you do not. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 01:44, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
| | This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
