You've been adding a lot of Ukranian stubs lately, and while I can appreciate your enthusiasm, could you at least provide a reference on any of them? The reason I deleted your article is that it wasn't anything more than a sentence. Simply saying the guy was a mathmetician and haning a stub notice on it does not an article make. I'm also not bound by any rule stating that I need to ask permission to delete an article which falls under a speedy deletion criteria, namely A1 in this case. One more thing: You are absolutely encouraged to recreate the article with more content than you've been adding. Simply recreating deleted copy may get you temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule which you've technically broken. However, I won't block you. The point of a stub is so they can be expanded upon. I'm initially making many stubs and then will fill them out with the links I provide in external links. Deleting these stubs is just slowing down the process of giving these people articles. Sure there is. Speedy deletion criterion A1 which states that articles with little or no content can be deleted. You latest entry is excellent and should serve as a basic template for all of your articles. Yes, the point of a stub is so that it can be expanded. However, it has to have some basic facts that a potential end user of the article can use in research. Simply hanging the stub notice on such a short article isn't going to make it grow. Once again, please feel free to recreatee the Slutzky article but add a bit more content. For example, where did he teach? Any books? Any mathematical formulas attributable to him? Did he study under a great mathematician himself? You don't have to fill out every detail of his life. Just add a few more facts is all I'm asking. - Lucky 6.9 05:04, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
