[edit] Basis for removing a personal attack/troll edit

See WP:CIVIL#Removing uncivil comments. If there was any substantive content to the comment, that might be different, but a pure, kindergarten-level ad hominem rant doesn't warrant being preserved on a Talk page. I would have deleted it if it was directed against any one else. RedSpruce 15:12, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ...and making your own personal attack

Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: Talk:McCarthyism. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

I'm curious: what made you think that your comment was any less inappropriate than the previous comment that you called "inappropriate"? RedSpruce 15:22, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:03, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
