First of all, my interest in the page is that it is a disambiguation page that is not correctly formatted. I happen to have an interest in disambiguation pages, as I feel they are an important part of Wikipedia that are often ignored by other editors and allowed to become bloated and less than useful, as Sabrina has. Wikipedia has, as I pointed out, a Manual of Style that explains how a disambiguation page should be laid out. Key points being ignored on Sabrina include "Each bulleted entry should, in almost every case, have exactly one navigable (blue) link", "The link should be the first word or phrase in each entry" and "Entries should not be pipe linked".
These are the things I have tried to fix, only to see my work casually undone without any reason given. Please understand that that sort of behavior is seen as disruptive and is to be avoided.
Also, please do not remove things from my talk page, even your own comments. If I leave a comment there, it is for a reason and I would rather it not be deleted by others. Thanks. Rhindle The Red (talk) 22:22, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- I see some improvement in Sabrina, but there are still many problems. There are still more than one link per line ("Sabrina the television series and animated series", for instance), there are still unneeded links (such as the actor and year links in the list items for the 'Sabrina' movies, and the 'stage name' section still has the links piped (meaning they read one thing, but lead to another). Also, an entry like "Sabrina Aircraft Mfg." is not viable, as it doesn't lead to a page in Wikipedia.
- Disambiguation pages are not meant to be repositories of information. They are purely for navigation and should be clear and concise, helping people to find the page they are looking for. In this case, someone typing in "Sabrina" can find the "Sabrina" they want. Anything that does not help in that goal (the extra or piped links, the links that point outside of Wikipedia) does not belong.
- Honestly, I don't see why you can't just re-instate my version and then adjust anything from there. But I will lay off for a while and see if you can get it up to snuff before I take a hand again.
- Also, I would suggest that you register for the Wikipedia. It will mean that you won't show up as just an IP address and will make your editing easier. It will also make it easier for other editors to work with you. Thanks. Rhindle The Red (talk) 00:47, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

- Better still, but you're still piping some links. The name has to appear exactly as it does on its page. So the television show's link should read Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (TV series), not "Sabrina". Also, the link to the Cheetah Girl should read Sabrina Bryan, not "Reba Hinjos". If you look at the code for your talkpage, you will see that I *did* pipe the television show, but only to add the italics to the title. This is acceptable. Piping to change the way the link reads is not.

- And I only ever edit from my IP by accident. I sometimes get logged out without realizing it. It is never intentional. I actually find it annoying, as it makes it harder to keep track of my edits. Rhindle The Red (talk) 01:20, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:11, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
