Sockpuppet

I suspect this anonymous user is a sockpuppet of 71.235.81.39, Given there similar addresses and similar contributions to wikipedia (both have expressed ant-Boston sentiments on User Pages, and not talk pages). I would ask that this user be subject to the same blocks as 71.235.81.39. BH (T|C) 18:22, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

An anonymous user can't really be a sockpuppet, and his IP address may not have changed by choice. I do agree that it's the same person, but I don't think we can assume there was some intent to the IP change. Leebo T/C 19:31, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

And there's no reason to assume that the intentional use of another computer is to evade his past IP. Firstly, he didn't hide it. He came right over and left me a message. Secondly, let's say he doesn't own the computer he uses most often. Would it be so surprising for him to use another? Perhaps it's in need of repair. Maybe a family member needs to use software that is only on that computer. It really doesn't matter what the reason is, but there's no reason to assume it was a malicious attempt.
