Some of your edits from Latter Day Saints to Latter-day Saints (with a hyphen) have been reverted by a Wikipedia editor and I wanted to explain why in case this is new to you (as it was to me). In the Mormon article I questioned Latter Day Saints that were not Mormon and wasn't clear on how that was. This is the response I received:
"It's perhaps more fully explained at Latter Day Saint.
Here's a primer:
Latter Day Saints = all adherents that trace origin to Joseph Smith, Jr. and the Latter Day Saint movement Mormons = (generally) members of the LDS Church and some breakaways from that church, like Mormon fundamentalists Latter-day Saints = members of the LDS Church
THEREFORE
All Mormons = Latter Day Saints
All Latter-day Saints = Mormons
All Latter-day Saints = Latter Day Saints
BUT
Not all Mormons = Latter-day Saints
Not all Latter Day Saints = Latter-day Saints
Not all Latter Day Saint = Mormons
Crystal clear, right?"
I hope this helps, and the the Latter Day Saint article does explain it better than I am. Thanks for your edits and there will hopefully be more in the future. Alanraywiki 21:18, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
