[edit] LINAC

I have once again removed the information you added to Interstellar travel, because it still has no source. Please read Wikipedia's policies on verifiability and reliable sources and discuss the information you want to add on the article's talk page before adding it again. PubliusFL 03:16, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Could you please clarify on which pages Dr. Calle discusses LINAC in "Einstein for Dummies"? I can't find any reference to it. PubliusFL 18:19, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I have posted a confirmation of your comments on Talk:Interstellar travel#Sub relativistic travel section, though I have not read your linac material, which may have been reverted. I just left a note on User:PubliusFL's talk page to that effect. I believe I have seen the same material in Misner, Thorne, and Wheeler's text Gravitation, of about 1974. It clearly deserves to be better known among non-specialists. Cheers, Wwheaton (talk) 08:26, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 3D Optical Data Storage

Hi. I noticed that you made some edits to 3D optical data storage, concerning Colossal Storage and Dr Ram Katiyar. You referenced the statements, but unfortunately the links you provided in the references do not back up your edits to the articles. Specifically,

- You added Dr Katiyar to the list of academics influential in the field of 3D optical data storage. However, I can't find any reference to his research in this area even on his own home page or list of publications! Please either provide a reference to show that he is an important name in this field, or remove him from the list. If you keep him there, you should write something more relevant than "originator of multiferroic spintronic photon dynamics" to describe his work, i.e. something to do with the subject of the article.

- You noted that Dr Katiyar is making proof-of-concept experiments for Colossal Storage, but again there is no mention of this at the link you provided as a reference (unless I missed it). In fact, I can't find evidence of this cooperation anywhere on the web. Please remember that information in Wikipedia should be verifiable. Can you provide a reliable source?

OK, I can see that you have decided not to address or discuss this problem, so I have fixed it myself. Thanks. TheBendster (talk) 8 January 2008, 07:18 (UTC)
