Who the hell are you and why do you care?

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the 500 home run club page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Madchester (talk) 18:58, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 300 win club

Please stop adding the asterisk next to Roger Clemens' win total in the 300 win club article. This total is an official MLB-verified amount, and is not regarded by Major League Baseball as "tainted." Additionally, there is not yet any proof that Clemens' win total is "tainted" or that Clemens ever took steroids; there are only accusations.

Also, please take a look at Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. No user, anonymous or registered, is permitted to exceed a total of three reverts within any 24-hour period, with the exception of blatant vandalism. Content disputes are not a valid exception to this rule. Thank you. Ksy92003 (talk) 19:14, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

You know what's funny? By my count, JustSomeRandomGuy32 was the first to violate the Three-revert rule, since he "reverted" first. Honestly, I wasn't the first to put the asterisk up there, and it's not like I really care. But what I want to know is, in all seriousness, is who do you guys think you are to revert something some other user adds? Who are you to call an asterisk "vandalism"?

The fact that the numbers are MLB-verified has nothing to do with the asterisk, anymore than if a user posted a paragraph about those players' lives and/or careers that you disagreed with. The asterisk does not alter the number, it is still there for all to see.

Offer an explanation, please, about (a) why you care that there is an asterisk, and (b) why you have the authority to declare it vandalism and revert it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.193.134.114 (talkcontribs)

Madchester, are you daft??? Can you read and answer the questions??? It's not vandalism; it's valid content.

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing.

Unless MLB places an asterisk or completely removes the statistics of those individuals, your edits are not backed up by a reliable source, and is considered original research. --Madchester (talk) 14:14, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Again, Madchester, your argument falls flat. The asterisks are not MY original research. In fact, I wasn't the first to add one to this page for those players. In fact, a vast majority -- vast -- agrees that those numbers are tainted, and the result of illegal drug use and violations of the rules of baseball.
