Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. The links you added to the page Jeep have been removed. Please do not add commercial links—or links to your own private websites—to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. [edit] RE: External links

Hello - in response to your message on my talk page, I remove the links because they are being spammed. Although the subject matter of the links is about the articles' topics, the links themselves do not contribute much to the article. Wikipedia is in need of more content, not more external links. Please see WP:EL (external links guidelines) and WP:SPAM (spam guidelines). If you have any further concerns, feel free to leave another message on my talk page. --AbsolutDan (talk) 02:40, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

By content, I mean that Wikipedia articles need more text added to the article itself. The Wikipedia project is aiming for a print version, similar to existing print encyclopedias. External links offer little help in this respect --AbsolutDan (talk) 02:46, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
