[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:19, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your Accusations
I would greatly appreciate it if you would refrain from making personal attacks and accusations against me. I understand that it is probably more convenient to assume that I am the author and have a vested personal interest in the article, rather than perhaps the crusade of hate against Ctrl+Alt+Del may just not belong on Wikipedia. However I assure you that my interests as an editor here lie solely with the desire to keep the article NPOV and free of unsourced (and often downright libelous) accusations/criticisms, of which there have been many. Not many different ones, mind you, just many people insisting on adding the same problematic material to the article over and over again, which then requires removal over and over again, making it appear more of an issue than it would otherwise be if these people were editing with the intent of genuinely contributing. I have no interest in adding fluff material to the article, and I fully support the current initiative to pare down the article to essential facts that are deemed notable. I am not interested in creating a glowing fan piece for Ctrl+Alt+Del, I am aware that there are criticisms out there, and I have done due research. On the flip side of the same coin, I do not wish to see the article used to defame, or attack somebody.
I am appealing to you due to your most recent comment on the talk page, which includes (for the first time I have ever seen here) a valid and verifiable source of criticism. I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are genuinely trying to contribute and improve the article. While it is a verifiable source, and while it doesn't merit automatic inclusion (WP:UNDUE would be the primary concern there I believe, but it should be opened for discussion on the talk page) it is certainly a step in the right direction.
That said, whatever circumstantial "evidence" that has been concocted to link me to Tim Buckley, and despite whatever your personal belief is, I hope that you can realize that Wikipedia is not a forum for airing personal differences, or attacking other editors. I would appreciate it if I was not being attacked simply because I chose to monitor an article under attack, but I'm not going to try to convince you that I am not who you seem to believe I am. We are all here for the same reason, to contribute to articles of our choice. I only ask that you focus on legitimately improving articles rather than attempting to discredit a fellow editor whose edits you seem to disagree with.Thrindel (talk) 21:36, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
