[edit] Re: vandalism problem at Pixie

Sorry about my late response to your call for help — I've been busy with real life matters lately. The edits you talk about seem like run-of-the-mill vandalism, which is an ongoing issue on Wikipedia. Fortunately, there are a lot of mechanisms in place to deal with it. The article at Wikipedia:Vandalism gives instructions on how to deal with the problem; there are many editors who work nearly full-time reverting vandalism, and it's usually reverted very quickly (as it was the second time on Pixie). If the editor continues to vandalize the page after being warned, he will be blocked, and there are other courses we can pursue if we need to. But for now it looks like it's been taken care of. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 06:07, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
