It appears that though you do not possess a registered name, you have a grasp of the history of WIKI articles. You are encouraged to register so that you are more easily recognized. It addition, registered editors gain more respect for their edits than those who remain Anon.
Your deletions on the Joseph Smith, Jr. article are not in keeping with WIKI policy. (See WP:EP) The following is a quote from the policy page:
- With large proposed deletions or replacements, it may be best to suggest changes in a discussion, lest the original author be discouraged from posting again. One person's improvement is another's desecration, and nobody likes to see their work destroyed without prior notice. If you make deletions, you should try to explain why you delete their contributions in the article talk page. This could reduce the possibility of reverting wars and unnecessary arguments.
WIKI is a public encyclopedia; many ANON editors only come in for short periods and their contributions, for good or ill, are seldom felt to their fullest. As we all attempt to work together and follow policies and guidelines, we are able to more easily improve the product. Happy editing. Cheers. Storm Rider (talk) 07:00, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
| | This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
