[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:45, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to List of Kirby characters. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ChetblongTalkSign 01:50, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of Kirby characters. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

[edit] Violating three-revert rule
Dear editor. You have repeatedly violated the three-revert rule, despite being warned against it, on List of Kirby characters, as well as on Administrator intervention against vandalism. Additionally, your reports to AIV are unfounded, to accuse an editor who leaves you a standard template notice of "Death threats" is unacceptable, and to report someone with which you are in a content dispute is also not helpful. I would strongly suggest that you review Wikipedia's policies and guidelines to understand why you have been blocked by an administrator. If you have a dispute with the content of an article, discuss it at the article's talk page if someone disagrees with your edits, do not simply revert and continue to revert without discussion, this is not helpful, and is against policy. I do hope that you take the time to realize what happened, because I took a look at your edits to the Kirby article, and I do think that you had good intentions. However, "more" is not always "better", in many cases. An encyclopedia obviously cannot give every tidbit of information into articles, and summarizing and condensing is often preferable to extended lengthy articles. I would really strongly urge you to go discuss your reasons and concerns on the talk page once your block expires, and respect process and consensus. Thanks! Ariel♥Gold 02:25, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- I have struck my comments, as I initially did not notice the edit summary here. However, I do not think that constitutes a "death threat", but merely is a poor choice of edit summary by someone who was frustrated with your refusing to discuss issues and continued edit warring. Yes, it was not appropriate, but you'd been warned about your actions, and ignored them. I would again hope that you'll take this time to realize what went wrong, and when you return, that you will engage in calm, civil discussion on the article's talk page, rather than engaging in revert warring. I do believe you have good intentions, so I hope that you can work out the content dispute on the Kirby page. Cheers! Ariel♥Gold 03:54, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated.
