[edit] Harry Potter books

Articles about subjects originating in the UK use British spelling and terms. The novels that were retitled Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for America were called in their originally-published format, HP and the Philosopher's Stone. the notation about thise discrepancy is noted in the articles for the book and film in question. The Sorcerer Stone titling is not used for the characters or subjects within the novels. I am not sure if anyone had pointed that out to you before, so now you know. Have a brilliant day. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 01:52, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Repeated vandalism reverts on Severus Snape

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Severus Snape, you will be blocked from editing. Magidin 02:13, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm fixing, you're vandalizing.

I tried to be nice and point out where you were screwing up. Its been pointed out that the book doesn't use American Englishm and you keep reverting it - without discussion. You squandered that AGF chance, sport, so here it is: knock off with the reverts that you apparently refuse to discuss, or you will be blocked. Period. Blank your User Talk page again, and and admin will show you the door as the snotty little vandal you are quickly appearing to be. Whatever is your issue, you had best clean up your act and pronto. Grow up or go away. Consider this your final warning. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 02:16, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Your recent contribution to your talk page has been reverted or removed. Although this is your talk page, making such edits are considered vandalism and will be reverted. If you continue, this talk page may be protected from editing. Thank you. Cheers, Lights 02:19, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Dear editor: Please stop reverting to American English on pages where the subject's origin is British. The consensus is to use British English, see the WP:MOS, and if you have issues, take it to the talk page, thank you. ArielGold 02:21, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 31 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our polices concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. Ryan Postlethwaite 02:20, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

You were warned. Perhaps when you come back, you will take a bit more time to discuss your edits, so that you can sidestep possible mistakes in the future. If you don't this block will likely be just the first of many. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 02:33, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

NOTE: Also blocked at meta for inserting inane crap about some person named Anita Flugelhorn rolling around in hay with women. Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 02:53, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I think I am going to watchlist this clever young man, keeping an eye on his edits after he is unblocked. If he bahaves, problem solved. If not, we'll nip the problem in the bud, and in a more permanent way. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 04:16, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
