The map shows the outline of the North Cascades and Canadian Cascades, with a regional frame spanning Vancouver Island on the west to Kootenay Lake on the east, as far north as the Thompson River and as far south as the Columbia; E-W axis (as indicated by the int'l boundary) is slightly skewed, with the west side of the map showing more a southerly range than the east. based on image already in Wikimedia Commons: 708px-South_BC-NW_USA-relief.png
