[edit] welcome
Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian.
Thank you for making a report about 61.8.104.113 (talk · contribs · block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. Jesse Viviano 06:00, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] thanks!
Thanks for your excellent contributions to multiple articles(!). I hope you are able to stick around and help us maintain a part of this encyclopedia ;). Check out {{welcomeanon}} for a standard welcome. Feel free to drop any questions my way at user_talk:here. See you around ;) ∴ here…♠ 10:29, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent AIV report
Your report to WP:AIV regarding User:64.169.33.34 has been removed. A review of the user's edits show that they have not made any edits since their block on 10/2/07. The noticeboard is only for active vandals. In the future, only report editors who are currently making non-constructive edits and who have been given sufficient warning. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
