Hi again. Most people use an alias, I think, but plenty do use their real name. Some people prefer to keep their identity secret, and some have had trouble with their real name showing up in Google (every time you sign a talk page, for example). And there's always the remote possibility of internet stalker weirdos ;) So if you're not sure, I'd use something other than your real name. Plus, if you come up with something cool like Can't sleep, clown will eat me, you get major street cred in the wikipedia community ;) It's totally up to you what you pick though (of course, it can't violate the Username policy, e.g. by being the name of a company or famous person). If you just want a vague idea of what some usernames are, look at User:NoSeptember/List of Administrators, for an example off the top of my head.

As for getting started, definitely ask me if you have any specific questions. There's also the Help desk for questions about using WP. Plus, here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Keep in touch, drop me a note with your new username when you get it! Peace, delldot talk 19:24, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
