[edit] blocked??!
{unblock|I don't understand why this IP is blocked. Despite the block message there is nothing looking like vandalism or account creation in the contrib history. It's a dynamic IP but I think I've been sitting on it for at least a week. I didn't get an autoblock message. What's going on?}
I'm not sure what you mean; this IP isn't blocked. Try editing a page again. --Mr. Lefty (talk) 18:31, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Please copy and paste the entire block message. It's likely that you're being affected by an IP range block. -- Netsnipe ► 18:34, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
The block message says "Your account or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by Dmcdevit for the following reason (see our blocking policy): Lots of vandalism and abusive account creation.
Your IP address is 70.231.138.38. " It doesn't say anything about a range block but that would explain it. --70.231.138.38
- Ah, yes, it is a range block. It should expire in one week, or someone can contact Dmcdevit and talk to him. --Mr. Lefty (talk) 18:44, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Aaah, I see. Well if the IP range was causing problems and there's not a way to unblock this specific address from it then don't worry about it, the edits I wanted to do aren't urgent or important. --70.
