[edit] Edits on herpes simplex
I noticed you have some concern with a statement in the lead paragraph of herpes simplex and have deleted it several times. Please be careful, wikipedia has policies against repetitive reverting - see WP:3RR. It seems that the sentence you are concerned about is being interpreted in a way that is not intended (i.e. you think it is a racist and sexist statement whereas it is meant to convey that scientific studies have found higher incidence of infection associated with the listed groups) - therefore, I think perhaps the sentence could do with restructuring to clarify its meaning. Please check out the talkpage for that article and make some suggestions how you think this sentence may be improved - it would be a shame to see an edit war beginning over an issue such as this! Thanks for your interest in the article, and I hope you stick around wikipedia to help make improvements. ~ Ciar ~ (Talk to me!) 17:44, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

- Let me explain to you the way Wikipedia works. If you disagree with the way other people are writing the article, and you make a change that somebody reverts, the way to deal with it is to give your reasons for your change on the Talk pages, and defend your position.

- If you do that, you can make a useful contribution and you might point out some errors. There might be a better way to say it.
