[edit] Welcome

Hello! I've noticed that you have edited Wikipedia without logging in to an account. It's great that you've been contributing; however, I urge you to create an account. Here is a list of the benefits of having an account:

There are no cons to signing up for an account. In fact, you can find even more pros at the "why create an account" page! Signing up is completely free and you don't need to enter any personal information! Plus you can have a user page, which you can use to show your interests, style, or nearly whatever! So, unless you can think of a con, please sign up for an account right now! Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 16:33, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing anonymously. You can continue to do so. You are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, but doing so will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 70.108.253.23). There are many benefits for logging in to Wikipedia.

Please note these points:

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] Re: External link in John Lennon article

Hi! Please read WP:EL. Firstly, you will note that the kinds of websites that making external links to is encouraged does not include photographic sites--this is because it is preferred that photos be uploaded to wikipedia or (even better) the wikimedia commons. Secondly, we already have a photo of imagine point both in the article and in the linked commons page. Thirdly, as you will see at WP:EL, links to pages which require plugins are actively discouraged. Thanks, JeremyA 03:10, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warnings

[edit] September 2007

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Joseph Smith, Jr., even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 02:17, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
