[edit] 3RR

I'd like to remind you of Wikipedia:Three-revert rule which is a policy to prevent edit wars. Please do not revert the same page/section more than three times in 24 hours. Else your account maybe suspended. Just thought you should be aware. -- malo (talk)/(contribs) 08:37, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] welcome

Welcome!

Hello, 69.6.100.199, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Pardon the first comment, but I never called you a vandal. However I'd like you to understand that if you want your edits to be taken seriously around Wikipedia, then I suggest you sign up for a username rather than just use your IP. You are not required to, but there are some benefits to having a username. Secondly, we do have a policy we like to call, Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers. I can see how my first comment on your talk page might seem harsh, however I was just trying to help you out so you didn't get banned. So often people just blank sections with no regard for the actual content and walk away. And while I now think that you a genuine contributor, having your first edit be the deletion of a whole section seems suspicious. So once again, welcome, and I hope I did bite you. Sorry if I did. -- malo (talk)/(contribs) 09:06, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
