And yet there are only TWO edits associated with it. Funny that.

This IP address has not been blocked because of vandalism from IP users. It has been blocked as an open proxy -- apparently, a banned user used this IP address to create an account and made undesirable edits. If you want to edit, you can always request an account through unblock-en-l. Of course, if you're just a reader, the block will not affect you. Thank you for the response. Where I can find out more about the banned user and the undesirable edits that led to the conclusion that this is an open proxy and should be blocked? Basically, I'd like to see some objective evidence that this block wasn't put in place simply because of the lone edit made from this IP the same day that the block was applied.

User:Herbythyme, the person who blocked this IP address, should be able to reply to that question. I don't think your IP address was blocked for this edit -- that would be a ridiculous thing to do. Open proxies are also blocked without any instances of vandalism, to prevent possible vandalism. You can request assistance through unblock-en-l. utcursch | talk 19:44, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
