[edit] socialchangewebsites.com external link
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Siobhan Hansa 03:27, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Social Change Websites is a valuable resource to the social change movement as it shows different examples of websites that embrace technology to inspire social change. There is no advertising, marketing, spam, or anything other than resources for social change. I do not understand the problem?! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.243.69.128 (talk)
- Then you may not have read or understood the links I pointed you to above. We are attempting to build a GFDL encyclopedia. We are not a repository of useful links on a subject. A link to a list of organizations that engage in social change is not a link that is encyclopedic about about Internet activism. It is a directory (one of the things which Wikipedia is not). It does not inform readers about the subject of Internet activism, it promotes the organizations listed in the directory. Please stop. We encourage you to add content to our articles. See our welcome page for more on how to contribute. --Siobhan Hansa 14:22, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
