Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Monkey's Audio. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. Hi. Wikipedia doesn't need more external links as a general rule. In particular, blogs are not yet considered a reliable enough source of information for Wikipedia to endorse them. In addition, persistently adding a link is considered "spam" in the sense that it is judged very likely to be for promotional purposes. Please discontinue adding your link to the Shorten article. If you would like more information about how Wikipedia handles links, see our guidelines at Wikipedia:External links or leave me a message at my Talk page. Please note that persistently disruptive behaviour such as spamming can result in being blocked from editing. — Saxifrage 21:26, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
