Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --AbsolutDan (talk) 05:52, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the offer, but I don't believe that site qualifies as a reliable source. You can, however, feel free to mention the link on an article's talk page. Instead of saying something along the lines of "has anyone tried...", try writing something like "I think this link should be included, because...", which will sound much more like you're trying to suggest a useful link rather than advertising. Then, allow other editors to discuss the link and decide whether or not it should be added. If they all agree the link is useful and passes WP:RS muster, it can then be included with the blessing of consensus. Hope this helps. --AbsolutDan (talk) 23:01, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
