Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 69.118.235.97). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Rettetast 17:39, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Didn't there used to be an orange/yellow bar that lit up when you had new messages?--69.118.235.97 17:42, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My Mistake
I did make an error leaving a message on this page regarding James Myers. I think I clicked something accidentally on my new page watching. It was a mistake. Apologies, and thanks for bringing it to my attention. I can't fix what I don't know about. Cheers. Jsc83 17:37, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Jimi Hendrix
I tagged the article. Let me know if there are other pages you have questions about. Feel free to create an account. cheers. —Gaff ταλκ 23:10, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Woops, thanks for catching that. —Wknight94 (talk) 19:02, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Signatures
On Wikipedia, the term "signature" has a special meaning. It means that, after a comment, the user typed four tildes ~~~~. It does not mean that the user typed his/her name and whatever else he/she likes. So, if a comment is not ended with four tildes, SineBot will come through and force a signature on the comment because it is unsigned in the Wikipedia-sense. -- Kainaw(what?) 15:33, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- The user in question is clearly using a custom signature that includes no link to their user or user talk pages. According to the deletion log, they're "Seeking to close all references to "Hyenaste" on Wikipedia" and they have that right. There's nothing in Wikipedia:Signatures that supports your position. As long as they sign with --~~~~ and produce a time stamp, it's a proper signature--69.118.235.97 16:13, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Level 3 headings
I thought they were separate questions, even if they relate to the same topic, so I switched them to level 2 headings. The headings actually confused another user: [1] - which was the main reason I switched them to level 2 headings. x42bn6 Talk Mess 17:00, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for your edit to List of United States military leaders by rank. I've looked at that article many times and right past the typo in George's name. :) Thank you for lending a hand and improving wp. — MrDolomite • Talk 14:34, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Help Desk question
I answered your Help Desk question (with this reply, in fact). --ais523 17:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
