[edit] Userpage vandalism

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Owen× 03:22, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

What???? Show me what I'm doing wrong and why. --69.117.6.28 03:23, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

Blocked. Block removed.

Please check out my contributions carefully - You will find that they are indeed true and justified. If you think otherwise, please present me with a full and detailed explanation. --69.117.6.28 03:26, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

None of the eight users you marked as banned sockpuppets are actually banned:

Can you point me to where they have been identified as sockpuppets? Owen× 03:29, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

I unblocked you until I figure this out. My apologies if I was mistaken. Owen× 03:37, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
I wonder why not all DW-related accounts are officially blocked (When I checked the IP Block list, the only one I have found so far is Joe Canuck) - this seems weird. In any case, this was not bad faith (my edit history prior to this will show), but a misunderstanding of who is/was officially blocked. --69.117.6.28 03:40, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Yes, as soon as I saw your edit history I realized I was not dealing with a vandal, and I rushed over to unblock you. We've had two instances of mass page blanking this evening, so excuse me for being a bit jumpy. I've left a question with Curps to figure out why these socks don't show as blocked. Regards, Owen× 03:45, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
OK, I found the evidence for those bans: here and here. Feel free to continue where I interfered. All the best, Owen× 03:59, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] More stuff

I noticed that you changed some of the indefinitely blocked tags added with {{subst:indefblocked}} to just {{indefblocked}}. I was under the impression that the former has less of a load on the servers, so I think that's why it's encouraged. Was there something in particular that you were trying to do that I might not be aware of? --HappyCamper 03:53, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

Well, those pages had the "old fashioned" Indefblockeduser tag (not by template, but constructed long-hand), so it's "out with the old, in with the new". --69.117.6.28 03:56, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. See you around! --HappyCamper 03:58, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Wikipedia is Communism

By changing "sockpuppets" to "sock puppets" in the name of the category (Category:Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets of the Communism vandal instead of Category:Wikipedia:Suspected sockpuppets of the Communism vandal) you have broken the category. Please be more careful next time. Owen× 23:43, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
