[edit] Welcome; how-to guide
Hello Barry Block (is this you uploading your own work?),
Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, we do not have a place for content that may not be edited by others. If you want a little more control over what your content looks like and how it is viewed, consider creating your own Wikibook on the subject, or as a how-to.
All contributions you make anywhere on this project are attributed to you, forever; there is a History of each page that tracks such contributions. However, the body of an article or content page is not an appropriate place to list copyright or authorship information, precisely because it is the same on all pages and because others must be allowed to edit what you have contributed. You may always refer to the original version of that page (a permanent link to each historical revision of a page is kept) if you want to demonstrate what was your work alone.
As it stands, your contribution may be removed from Wikipedia as unsuitable, but I hope you will learn more about the project and continue to look for content to include here. Cheers, +sj + 23:44, 3 May 2005 (UTC)
