Do not insult me again by accusing me of catering to bias. Your insertion of "Bible contradictions" with the Bible itself as the source is, in fact, in violation of WP:OR; primary sources are inappropriate for exegesis of any kind- this is for secondary sources to muse about, not editors. I would suggest you take a step back and consider why you're being reverted. Please quit being stubborn and confrontational about it and simply understand what WP:NPOV really says. It certainly does not promote the removal of all information considering a particular point of view.
With your removal of one side of the discussion, you have effectively violated WP:NPOV. All articles, even "criticism" articles, must adhere to this policy. And this means addressing common topics of criticism both positively and negatively. On another note, these changes which you endorse introduce unsourced information in place of the good, sourced information which you have removed under questionable reasoning. Please discontinue with these edits, and cease bringing accusations against me which have no basis. I hope that I have been clearer about this. Thanks.--C.Logan 02:49, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've written a bit more on my talk page. I've elaborated somewhat, so you may want to take a look.--C.Logan 03:02, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR warning
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Criticism of Christianity. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. -Andrew c [talk] 03:04, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
On a personal note, I wanted to add that I started a topic on the talk page to discuss the addition of the contradiction list, and there is currently consensus to remove the list. You have not said a single word on the talk page, in regards to defending the list's inclusion, or defending any of your other proposed changes. Wikipedia works through consensus. Editors need to work together, and we do this by discussing our differences on the talk page. You have not said one word on the talk page. It IS ok to make a bold edit, but if it gets reverted, it is considered disruptive to re-add the edit. Please stop edit warring, and start dialogging with other users. If you have any questions about this, or how wikipedia works, feel free to contact me personally. Thanks for your consideration.-Andrew c [talk] 03:08, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- I was going to warn this user with a standard template (OR/NPOV), but I think this is a fairer way to do things. Thanks for being patient, Andrew c.--C.Logan 03:28, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Criticism of Christianity
I will look into it, thank you for asking for my assistance. Tiptoety 03:42, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- After looking into it this is what it appears to me, both of you have a simple editing conflict, this happens often and can be handled in many different ways. First you can choose to edit war which is not recomended and violates policy, and that appears to be what you and other editors are doing, this can result in a block of all partys involved. Second the page can be protected to stop editing from all users (expt. admins), and that was done so that no one would violate WP:3RR and get themselves blocked. Third, and what is recomended is to discuss the edit conflict on the articles talk page. This allows you and the other user + other members of the community to talk about the content conflict and come to a compromise. Doing this allows third parties to become involved and stops edit warring. This is what i recomened you do, otherwise if you continue to edit war, you and other users you are edit warring with will be blocked. Hope that helps, if you need anything else let me know! Cheers! [edit] Profoessor Harris "Understanding the Bible"
You apparently added a quote or quotes to the Eucharist article http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Eucharist&diff=69929861&oldid=68499885 which I have been defending. Since I can't attest to the accuracy of the quote, it is time for you to return and defend it, or let it be struck.
Does Prof Harris quote the cited passage of the Bacchae, or is that your citation?

Please be careful with the use of quotation marks. Eschoir (talk) 00:58, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Does Prof Harris quote the cited passage of the Bacchae in Greek, or in English? I need more of the quoted passage. Thannk you. Eschoir (talk) 17:58, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
