User talk:68.41.185.24

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 68.41.185.24, is part of a pool of dynamically allocated addresses and is registered to the following organization Comcast Cable Communications Inc. . Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts can be made to contact Comcast Cable Communications Inc. to report abuse.

The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

The previous article (pre change) had a story about no one actually knowing where the name comes from, and I have eaten at many thai restaurants and know why drunken noodles are called that. Almost all have a bourbon base for the sauce. And bourbon having alcohol in it makes the name "drunken noodles" because they are covered in the sauce.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Chris Chelios. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you. Rgoodermote  19:32, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Chris Chelios do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'youtube\.com' (link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9kZbdnzMRQ) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 19:43, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Chris Chelios Article

Please read Wikipedia:Citing_sources, Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons and Wikipedia:Reliable_sources. As well videos are not appropriate sources of information. Continued addition of the video or link to the video will result in a block. Rgoodermote  19:51, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

On a random note to help you know what is reliable please go to the following link Wikipedia:Reliable_source_examples. I couldn't leave you without examples, it didn't seem to be a very nice thing to do. Please do consider making an account. There are many benefits. I will is them below.
