[edit] Auburn University

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Auburn University. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. AuburnPilotTalk 03:02, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

I did not make any comment about UAT (which does not exist); that was another editor who also made the assumption that the remark was directed at the University of Alabama, not me. The important issue is that Original Research is NOT allowed within Wikipedia. An article your wrote is irrelevant unless you can add it as factual information, not commentary, and properly source it. AuburnPilotTalk 03:19, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Well, no, I don't see the reference to the NCAA website. Am I missing something? Check out WP:CITE; there is no citation following the statement unless I'm completely blind. Original Research refers to Wikipedia's policy of verifiabilty, namely Wikipedia:No original research. As far as this Mountain Brook graduate (yep, you're right) using "O" and "M", I haven't the slightest clue what you're referring to. Clue me in...... AuburnPilotTalk 03:50, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
