[edit] Multiple Vandalism
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. --24.136.230.38 00:05, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
That doesn't mean you have the right to remove warnings. If you would like to make useful contributions, please create an account. Thank you! --24.136.230.38 00:12, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- I can only give you the same advice, in regards to creating an account. Those warnings are from before this company acquired the IP address. Further harassment can and may be met with legal action. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR BEING A NUISANCE, in my opinion. --68.207.117.147 00:20, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- Warning a user for actions deemed against Wikipedia policy is in no way able to be met with legal action. The user was in no way overstepping their bounds. Unfounded or vindictive threats of legal action are grounds for action against your Wikipedia access using this IP. Please refer to WP:THREAT. -- KirinX 20:43, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

- Is it ok, if I post my personal opinion of you or anyone who post on this page, as a reply on this same page? Since it is my talk page.

[edit] Thank you for your input
Thank you for your input, it shall certainly be taken into consideration. --68.207.117.147 03:03, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Also that was not a legal threat, that was simply a statement of what can be done.
If you must take legal action, we cannot prevent you from doing so. However, we require that you do not edit Wikipedia until the legal matter has been resolved to ensure that all legal processes happen via proper legal channels.
- I was not threatening to sue him, I was simply telling him that I rather not be harassed by him anymore. Also to be clear I am not threatening you with anything, but I would simply like for you not to speak to me again. This is why wiki will never be a reliable, useful, legitimate source for anything other than documenting television shows....the users oh and plagiarism. Like in the Annie Oakley article which I addressed today and of course no one cares. Because it is wiki. --68.207.117.147 03:53, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

- "Also to be clear I am not threatening you with anything, but I would simply like for you not to speak to me again." ... While in itself a perfectly reasonable request, firstly, you do have the right to ask me not to speak to you again. However, I have the right to ignore your request, as this is a public website, to which you do not own the rights, even to your own talk page. Secondly, I have the rights to reply to messages you have left me, or for any reason that might require me to warn you for actions taken against Wikipedia policy. Same as you have the right to do similarly. Thank you and good day. -- KirinX 16:35, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

- In that case I guess I will respond to you by saying that I have the right to once again request for you to stop being obnoxious and leave me alone. If you will not, than so be it. I hope you feel high and mighty for being a big shot in the worlds most inaccurate and plagiarized encyclopedia. Honestly the only thing I care about editing and looking at on this "wonderful" site is television shows, since there is no other source as well compounded as Wiki in that sense.

- But let me ask you something, how is it that things like user comments are checked so quickly, and the request for the stolen (plagiarized)material from the Annie Oakley article still goes unchecked. And that is a serious question, do people just check the recent changes page scouring for edits to revise or their some sort of filters to see specific types of edits. And if you really want to do something useful check the article I already mentioned and tag it for plagiarism, I provided the site it was copied from in its discussion section...or I guess you can choose not to and do something more useful like see who I've made threats to... --68.207.117.147 17:14, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

- I have no intentions of 'dragging you through the mud' as you seem to imply, I am not an administrator here at Wikipedia, nor do I claim to be. However, Wikipedia allows common users the ability to police the site. Once again, you must realize that while it is within your right to ask people not to reply to you, they are more than within their right to do so, and should do so. Asking people not to message you or talk to you or whatever is simply pointless. If you do not wish to interact with fellow Wikipedians, I suggest you not interact with them by not editing the encyclopedia. This is a community-based, community-built site. You must recognize that you will be interacting with other Wikipedia users, like it or not.

- However, I will attempt to find out what your issue with Annie Oakley's article is. Which brings me to my answer to your original question, "how is it that things like user comments are checked so quickly...": This is due to the fact that helpful users patrol more for vandalism than they do for inaccuracies, which itself is due to the fact that the vandals are usually the ones introducing the inaccuracies to begin with.

- And... just so you are aware, I will not reply to you if you do not reply to me. Otherwise I will assume your replies (in which so far you have continued to ask questions) are asking for a reply of their own. -- KirinX 17:34, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
