I never threatened you and you also attacked me and vandalized my user page. Those are valid reasons for someone like you to be blocked from editing. JobE6 Image:Peru flag large.png 00:44, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. -- Antipode 03:57, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Cynthia McKinney, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --AbsolutDan (talk) 16:01, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cynthia McKinney

Wikipedia is not the place for personal opinions, especially unsourced opinions. Articles here must be written in a neutral point of view, and Must be cited. If you want readers to conclude that Ms. McKinney is mentally imbalanced, present the facts of her behavior in an impartial, impassionate tone and let the facts speak for themselves. There is no need to resort to personal attacks here, as you have on my Talk page. If you have a problem with a user's edit, take it up calmly on their talk page as I am attempting to do here with you. --AbsolutDan (talk) 16:22, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Mr. Hansen: I have since found a Wikipedia style guide that best describes the problem with the statement you made on Ms. McKinney's article. Please see Wikipedia:Avoid weasel words. Also, may I remind you that personal attacks/flaming has no place in this encyclopedia. By resorting to name-calling and other personal insults against me, you are violating WP policy. Please see Wikipedia:No_personal_attacks and Wikipedia:Civility. I am perfectly willing to further discuss how Ms. McKinney's article can be improved, including how best to cite particular viewpoints or add further information if we could keep it in a civil tone. Thanks --AbsolutDan (talk) 05:15, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] comments on peer review of rapping

Hi. First off, please stop writing comments on an old peer review. It's an archive of an old discussion, not an ongoing one. The only one who will read your comments there are me. So it's pointless to post there. Second off, its almost hilarious that you would think that Debbie Harry was the first rapper. Kool DJ Herc and Dj Hollywood were rapping in the early 70's. Last time I checked, her musical career was in the earlier 80's-- and she gave shoutouts to DJ Grandmaster Flash when she did rap. So in conclusion, while Blondie was sample, and Debbie Harry definitely had a place in the culture, you're essentially wrong on every point. Peace, --Urthogie 12:28, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding Lil' Kim

First of all, traditionally one leaves messages on someone's talk page rather than their user page as you did. But aside from that, to respond, your content was removed because I did not consider the comment on the aforementioned artist's "fake nose, fake breasts" to be quite in the style of information that Wikipedia traditionally strives for. If you still disagree, bring up the issue on the article's talk page. Thank you. --IapetusTALK|C|@ 01:25, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding your comments on Hip hop[1]

I'm sorry that you believe that Hip Hop is "not a legitmate music genre. A fad at best." It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks!
