- Please do not continue to re-add those edits unless you can back them up with a reliable, verifiable source. Give some proper links, not just "go to this site and search for that". Please note that forums and random email archives are very unlikely to be considered reliable sources. If you continue in this manner, you can be blocked from editing.--Drat (Talk) 10:36, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

- As explained above, you must provide links, not just a direction on where to search. On top of that, the sources are probably not reliable anyway. Please bring this issue up on the talk page of the article if you can actually provide direct links that are reliable (please read the reliability policy).--Drat (Talk) 12:34, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

I was a moderator on Fidonet in the STTNG echo, yes. There was a vocal minority who wanted anarchy who labeled me "Hitler", but the bit about "Fidonet Central asking me to leave" is crap. Nothing like that ever happened. Not to mention Fidonet wasn't structured that way, forcible removal of a moderator doesn't come from a central body like that. I remained in control of the echo until I stopped using Fidonet some years ago. Seems like one of these "Screw any kind of rules" people has found their way to Wikipedia. Sigh. --- Dopefish 16:28, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

The fact I was a moderator in Fidonet for STTNG is not in question. The problem is this nonsense about Fidonet Central and being asked to resign and being removed is a complete lie. I maintained control of the echo till the day I stopped participating in Fidonet. There is no way to twist it, hence the repeated removals of the vandalism. Not just by me.

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Heimstern Läufer 02:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
