Hey, saw that you're trying to sign your comments on the Talk:The Smashing Pumpkins page. While the gesture is appreciated, you should know that you can't just make up a name and sign with that. You sign your comments by typing ~~~~ at the end of your comments. If you want a user name to go there instead of an IP address, then why not set up a proper account? It's free and takes just a minute. Girolamo Savonarola 01:09, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi,

Regarding your comment on Talk:Green Day: Your opinions are always appreciated, but please refrain from personal attacks. You could've made your point just as well (actually, you could've made it better, in my mind) without calling someone else an idiot. Furthermore, people are more likely to actually listen to what you have to say if you don't call them names.

[edit] Deleting material

Hi,

Please don't delete comments from your talk page unless they're truly trivial. Your talk page provides an important record of your interactions and relationship with the Wikipedia community. If you really want your talk page to be empty for some reason, it's possible to archive it, although you probably shouldn't do that until the page gets very long.

I noted, by the way, that you deleted the "you're an idiot" comment from your post on the Green Day talk page. Thank you. :)
