From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi there. This message is for the person who has been editing Jimmy Wales, so apologies if you're not them. I notice you've taken the "we don't edit others' comments on talk pages" message to heart, and that's fine. But I think you should just take a look at Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines, where it points out (in the section "Editing comments") that we don't edit people's comments to change their meaning. And in particular, if you look at the section "How to use article talk pages", it points out that they're there to discuss improving the article itself, and "Irrelevant discussions are subject to removal." Unfortunately, Talk:Jimmy Wales gets a lot of irrelevant discussions from people who thing that it's User talk:Jimmy Wales, and there's nothing wrong with removing their remarks since they have absolutely nothing to do with improving the article.
