[edit] Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Newcomers help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
I noticed you are known only as an IP address; that means you are not signed up. To sign up, you only need to click Create account and choose a username and password. You don't need to provide any personal information. If you sign up, you'll have a username that others can use to recognize you and leave you messages on the wiki. You'll be able to sign your name just by typing four tildes (~~~~) when you leave someone else a message. Plus, you (and others) will easily be able to see a list of all your contributions to Wikipedia.
If you have any questions, see the help pages, ask at the Village pump, or feel free to ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! ReverendG 06:08, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
To this user: Casper DID die from Pneumonia. In the attic, the camera goes across and article and one has a sub-heading that says 'Pneumonia claims life of 11 yr. old boy.' You can catch Pneumonia from the cold. I have when I was younger. Breathing in cold air and damage your lungs and make them full of moisture, hence getting Pneumonia!!!
- To the user who thinks "pneumonia" is capitalized and doesn't know how to type a word into the search engine, the wikipedia article on pneumonia reads as follows:
- Pneumonia can result from a variety of causes, including infection with bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites. Pneumonia may also occur from chemical or physical injury to the lungs, or indirectly due to another medical illness, such as lung cancer or alcohol abuse.
- If you're so certain "breathing in cold air and damage your lungs and make them full of moisture, hence getting Pneumonia," whatever that means, why don't you add to do that article? Furthermore, I did acknowledge the canonical source of the "pneumonia" diagnosis prior to your necessary, grammatically sound and very professional edits. 67.171.163.212 04:01, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- P.S. I also had pneumonia when I was young.
[edit] About the Preview Button
I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. --Naohiro19(Talk Page/Contributions) 11:00, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Edit Summary Request
I have noted that you edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 07:47, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Renewed Edit Summary Request
I second the above request that you fill in the summary field for your edits. --Lexein 23:33, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
