Response: I am the owner of this site. Many months ago, I added a bunch of information to a stub about contrarian investing, with some discussion on the philosophy and major players in the movement. I included at the bottom a link to an article on my site which covered the same material in more detail. It was not intended as promotional material - it was a simple link to relevant content. Wikipedia links have little promotional value anyway.

My site is perfectly respectable - articles from it have been published by Forbes, Seeking Alpha, Yahoo Finance, and the Huffington Post, to name a few. I honestly believed that the writing there would be of value to someone interested in contrarian investing. It has a single adsense block, but is not commercial in nature. I'm not selling anything.

Note that the link is still there, and if it was ever removed, I most certainly did not replace it. I will be happy to remove the link personally if you still find it objectionable. I don't think I should be on any list of spammers, though. This was at worst an honest mistake.
