- Hmm... there seems to be some evidence that it's not nonsense. Please feel free to re-add this information but, please, cite an independant source (no speculation). Cheers, and ENJOY WIKI! FractureTalk

[edit] Request for information
You told me not to remove some sort of warning from a page. I did not know that I did that. Can you show where I have done that by providing me with the diff? If not, I will consider your edit on my user page to be an error. What removal were you concerned about? Maybe it was not me.--Blue Tie 22:32, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Stalking
- Go ahead and "report" me; the claim is ridiculous on its face. By the way, editing as both an anonymous user and with an account is considered sockpuppetry. Just thought you should know. Danny Lilithborne 00:21, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blanking User talk:Cliesthenes
Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to User talk:Cliesthenes. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! Agne 23:49, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] César Chávez
Thank you for the revision to Cesar Chavez. How can people actually think stating Cesar Chavez was a mexican american is vandalism? I don't get it. 67.162.212.254 19:35, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- I don't get it either. According to Wahkeenah the issue has already been discussed and consensus has been reached. I cannot find this discussion and I have asked for more details. Let's see what develops. LittleOldMe 19:45, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have now requested comment on the article's discussion page after Wahkeenah reverted yet again without adding anything to the discussion. It takes a while to filter through, but considering the disruptive editing pattern displayed by the two users who disagree, I cannot see that that their opinion will be taken seriously.
- I also have my suspicions that there is some sock puppetry being indulged in.
- So, with that, good night!

[edit] Warning
I know nothing of the dispute you're involved in, but it is petty to keep reposting warnings that a user has removed from his talk page. If he removes them, it means that he has seen them, and they have served their purpose. They are not supposed to be black marks that a naughty user is obliged to display on his page. Anyway, if you add them again, you may be blocked for disruption and harassment. AnnH ♫ 22:46, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, you are incorrect. Warnings cannot be removed under current wiki policy. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Centralized_discussion/Removing_warnings
- no consensus has been reached on the issue, so the removal isnot allowed. Please place the warnings back on user:dcflyer's page per wiki policy. THank you. 67.162.212.254 23:17, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Answering your questions (from here and from my user space)
Why can User:Dcflyer violate several rules, including repeated 3RR violations, edit warring, and deletion of warnings on talk pages? I have no idea what rules Dcflyer is or is not violating, as I had never heard of him until a few hours ago, when I saw your message to Centrx and then went to Dcflyer's page to see what it was all about, and saw that you were harassing him by reposting warnings that he had removed. Nobody is allowed to violate 3RR. As for "edit warring", I have taken just a very brief look at the César Chávez page, and see that you and Dcflyer are both reverting each other. I'm not quite sure why you think it counts as edit warring when he does it, but not when you do. Editors are not forbidden to remove warnings from their own talk pages — except in cases such as block notices placed by admins for the duration of the block. I am very familiar with the page you quote, and must point out that it is not policy. The question of removal and replacement of warnings from user talk pages has been raised many times at admin noticeboards, and the response from admins is almost invariably, "don't keep harassing the user." As to why I allow this to go on, I had no prior knowledge of the user or the article, and only discovered them through your message to Centrx. If Dcflyer has violated 3RR, then you can choose to ignore it, to point it out to him once, or to report it at WP:AN/3RR. What you can not do is continue to harass him by replacing messages that he has deleted from his talk page. You say that his edit warring is well known. Not by me — I had never heard of him. I note that he has a clean block log, however, so it's unlikely that he's a well-known edit warrior. In any case, whether he is or isn't one, harassing him on his own talk page is definitely not on, and the page you quote is not official policy. AnnH ♫ 23:44, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

- Where is the official policy? There is one, I have seen it but can. Please show me where it says they can be removed. I am interested,or is it toomuch to askfor an admin to cite policy? 67.162.212.254 00:49, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
