Hi. Even though a local newscast described the basketball game rickrolling as a "hoax", they were referring to the YouTube video and not the game itself. The rickrollings really happened - the "hoax" of it was that rickrollings from several games were combined into one video, and video editing made it look like the cheerleaders were dancing to the rickrolling music. This is reflected in the correction statement in the NYT article, and is a consistent interpretation of the KHG article. Thus what is currentlly in the article is factually and verifiably correct and I have removed mention of the "hoax" as this might confuse people into thinking the rickrolling never happened.
