[edit] Gedo

Hello! Regarding your edits to Gedo: I've notcied you added "By Saylac Sh. Diini, Xarunta Keydka Ummada, Baardheere 2005" to the end of the article. Is this a book that you used as a source? Or does this credit you for editing the article? If the former is the case, I am concerned that the text is being copied directly from the source, which is almost always a copyright violation. If the latter is the case, please do not add your name to Wikipedia articles. Due to the collaborative nature of wikis, the byline would grow very long if everyone were to sign his or her name. Thanks! -- Gyrofrog (talk) 02:24, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

Please don't post messages within the articles, use the article's talk page (e.g. Talk:Gedo) or another editor's talk page. As for the comments themselves, I wish to remind you of the message that appears every time you edit an article: "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly . . . do not submit it." Furthermore, are you, yourself, able to supply verifiable sources (preferably in English, this being the English Wikipedia)? -- Gyrofrog (talk) 12:49, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for your comments at Talk:Gedo, I have added a response on that page. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 20:45, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Please do not delete content from articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Gedo. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 18:01, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] May 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Somali language, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:27, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Bardera. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 21:43, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Marehan. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 15:39, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
