Hello, I have seen that you made a great deal of contributions to our articles related to statistics, for which I am very grateful. I haven't read them all, but I did go through the article on matrix subtraction. I see that you distinguish between "subtraction of matrix elements" and "subtraction of matrices". Unfortunately, what you call "subtraction of matrix elements" and denote by A (-) B is called "subtraction of matrices" and denoted by A - B by all mathematicians. I wonder whether you could explain the background of this difference.
