From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Stephenville, Texas‎. Readers looking for serious articles will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write (almost) whatever you want. That was not a "joke edit". See the aforementioned source itself. 65.163.113.170 (talk) 00:48, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
My bad, I didn't notice the previous section and I thought you were trying to ridicule religious people. However, it may not be a good idea to add that info there because it is kind of redundant seeing as the UFO has already been mentioned and cited. Again, my apologies. Now someone vandalized that article. 65.163.113.170 (talk) 09:24, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ref Desk

Per the guidelines at the top of the Reference Desk, "soapboxing" (loosely defined as posting diatribes) is not an acceptable use of the desk. As such, I have removed your post about alleged UFOs and encourage you to not post similar conspiracy theories there in the future. Such information may be appropriate at the relevant articles (and I see you've brought it up there), but there's no place for it at the RD. Thanks. — Lomn 15:03, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

The newscaster made the claims, NOT me. Play that tape. 65.163.113.170 (talk) 23:55, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: 2 by 2

I understand. However, THIS MANNER of writing is simply not appreciated. Be sure, if you write plain old sentences people will read them, too, and others might respond less friendly than I did. Cheers, Ouro (blah blah) 09:47, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Satellite

D'you mean this? Feb 30 is not included in the current standard calendar. --Ouro (blah blah) 10:34, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Typo. 65.163.113.170 (talk) 11:00, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
This happens farily regularly, and the info is quite sketchy. Post it here if you want. Cheers, Ouro (blah blah) 11:50, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
