Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --John 21:23, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your message. I certainly reviewed your edits before sending you my message. Adding multiple external links like you were doing is against our policies. See WP:EL for more details. --John 21:53, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. --John 22:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
Please read the link I referred you to above. If there is good material we do not already have in these articles you are mass-linking to, it would be better to adapt and include it in the articles themselves than adding it as an external link. Doing it this way just makes it look as if you are trying to boost traffic to a particular website. You are welcome to discuss this further here or on my talk page, but adding any more links will lead to an immediate block. --John 22:32, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 22:32, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
