see Talk:Rig Veda and God, especially God#Capitalisation. You misunderstand the MoS, and you misunderstand English use of 'God' vs. 'god'. As a pagan, I would refer to my deities as 'gods', without implying any lack of respect; it is simply the correct spelling.
