Drew, the problem with that is Wikipedia's no original research guideline. That means, among other things, that your edits can't be based on using yourself as a source. That also matches up nicely with the requirement for a neutral point of view in your edits.
I'm sure there are things that you find interesting, that you can research -- doing real research, that is -- and add to Wikipedia. Good luck!
