[edit] June 2007

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Freddie Mercury. Readers looking for serious articles will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write (almost) whatever you want. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

[edit] December 2007

Please do not add potentially libellous and wholly untrue content to Wikipedia articles, such as your edit to David Bowie recently. The following applies to all articles about living persons:

This article must adhere to the policy on biographies of living persons. Controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libellous. If such material is repeatedly inserted or if there are other concerns relative to this policy, report it on the living persons biographies noticeboard.

I have not reported it on this occasion, but you do risk that happening in the future if you repeat such edits. Thank you. Ref (chew)(do) 15:52, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
