I agree with much of what you say, but:

• If you write more concisely, you have a greater chance of being read
• If you must write at length, can you please read the conversation that preceded you? It's only fair.
• Can you please log in? Anonymous comments on Discussion pages are often ignored because there is little confidence replies will be read.
