6188 Robertpepin is a Main belt asteroid discovered on September 16, 1988. The asteroid was discovered by Schelte J. Bus at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile. The asteroid was named after the American meteoriticist and professor Robert Pepin.
